Makers Workshops:

Inventors Lab- Petridish

8 Stafford Street

This space has 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC routers, electronic workstations, and robotic platforms. Petridish holds events, workshops, and night classes to encourage people to design, experiment, build, and invent.

Valley Community Workspace

11 Allen Street

This community workshop is located in the North East Valley and has a maker's space that is open at certain times. Coworking spaces are also available for sustainable, innovative ventures, skill-sharing, creativity, and community-led education and development. The valley community workshop is a not-for-profit group, to get involved here you can either join as a member or rent a co-working space for a small amount.


Konstruction Site - United scientists

67 Princes St (Capitol Building 5th floor)

Stitch Kitchen

474 Princes Street

Stich Kitchen is a fully equipped sewing studio that can be used during open hours or booked out privately for any big projects.

Petridish

In addition to its makers' space, Petridish has a range of options for freelancers and SMEs to use their facilities and co-working spaces. As mentioned above, Petridish also hosts regular events, and workshops to encourage a sense of community and create meaningful connections in Dunedin.

Regus

218 George Street- First floor of Harvest Court

Regus is a globally recognised provider of flexible working spaces. They offer fully furnished offices and meeting rooms. Regus has 18 locations around New Zealand and has flexible payments where you can book spaces for as little as one hour.

104 Bond

104 Bond Street

Bond 104 is a boutique working space, located in one of Ōtepotis heritage buildings. This building has space for individuals and small teams to work in an open and collaborative workspace.

Startup Dunedin

20 Leithbank

Startup Dunedin has office spaces available to Audacious students and Startups in The Distiller Incubator. There are also meeting rooms, space for events, movable furniture, and is child-friendly. Get in touch with the Startup Dunedin team if you want to know more about this.

Blue Oyster is a not-for-profit art space, all exhibitions and events are free to attend.

Guild

Guild has an online and storefront presence that exists to showcase Dunedin's designers. It is a not-for-profit and the designers staff the store.

AYU Community Space

AYU is a beautiful community space that you can hire for events and pop-ups.

Yours is a worker-owned cafe and venue that provides a space for art, music, events, and more.
